McClain showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on October 4th, 2020. Thick and strong Long Snapper with good starting form. Smooth Long Snapper that snaps a ball that is easy to catch for the punter. He reaches back well and McClain is able to use his body well. The harder he snaps the ball and the quicker he gets it out of the gate, the more dominant he will be with his snapping. I know he can do this at the next level and I need him to know it as well by snapping the ball as hard as he physically can. Lots of potential. Keep an eye on McCain at VEGAS in November and/or January.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
