Trezza did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Boston on September 27th, 2020. He is an athletic Long Snapper that moves well on his feet. His starting form is excellent and Trezza is able to really get the ball moving back to the punter. Simply aiming a bit lower will drastically improve the accuracy on Trezza’s ball. Locking down his spiral will increase the overall speed and make his ball easier to catch for the punter. Good Long Snapper that listens well and is coachable. Trezza’s hands are very quick and his upside.Watch him at VEGAS XXXVI in November.
Derrik showed me some good things during his online virtual ranking film. Good starting form and he has some excellent pop from his lower half. He is a very smooth athlete that moves with great fluidity through all of his athletic motions. When he is able to drive his eyes/head through, in never misses. The less he thinks, the better Derrik will do with all aspects of his Long Snapping. Very good upside and he is right on the cusp of greatness. When he snaps with all of his power, the ball will flat out fly out of his hands.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
