Player Review
Grant Hastings had a solid day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Danville, CA, on December 18, 2022. Grant is an athletic and coachable long snapper that snaps a very smooth and catchable ball. He uses all of his body extremely well. When Grant really focused on getting his hands and eyes through on his snap he was phenomenal. Grant had a great attitude throughout the whole day. Excited to see him continue to improve at Vegas XLI.
Grant was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022. He has a good attitude and he is one of those Long Snappers that is always smiling. Love that in Long Snappers since they are usually calmer. His hands are extremely quick and the ball jumps out of the gate very well. Love to see Grant lean back a bit more prior to his snap and make sure he gets his lower half fully involved to gain more speed.He moves very well on his feet and is smooth with all of his movements. Grant is right on the cusp of greatness and I look forward to seeing him at the Rising Seniors Camp!
