    Player Review

Player Reviews for VEGAS XXXVI (November, 2020) will be done on YouTube. Please click on top video link above to see the full review.

Jake Allen was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 6th, 2020. He is a large Long Snapper with good starting form and his follow through is excellent. The more he can control his large frame and make sure it is going straight back to the punter instead of going out just a tad. When Jake goes out, he is losing some of the power that he is generating with his strong body. His upper body drives through like an absolute champ and once his timing is locked down, he will easily crush the punter. Very good upside on Jake Allen.

Jake Allen showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on October 4th, 2020. He has some very good size and already looks like a senior! Starting form is very good and he has good balance. Allen’s follow through and the way he drives his head back to the punter is great. Looks like he is practically trying to hand the ball to the punter and I love it. Need to see his hands be a bit quicker out of the gate and focus on locking down his timing. Right now, Allen’s upper body is quicker than his lower half so his timing is a bit off. Slow motion drills will help a ton and this will greatly increase his overall accuracy and speed at VEGAS in November and/or January. Great upside.

Jake showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 7, 2020. He has very good size for his age and can pass an eyeball test quickly. HIs foloow through is off the charts as he practically hands the ball to the punter. He snaps with good power and is aggressive with his snapping motion. Love to see Jake focus on smoothing out his snapping motion and making sure he is getting his legs fully involved in the process. If he can lock his legs out, he could easily be in the .8s at VEGAS XXXVI on May 9-10!
