Player Review
Alejandro Jacobo was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Southern California on October 23rd, 2022. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper out of Arizona that snaps a smooth, clean ball. Spiral is tight and it is very catchable. Widening out his stance will allow his strong chest to get all of the way through to the punter. That will undoubtedly increase his overall accuracy and speed. Jacobo’s upper body is very quick as he dives through to the punter. Working on slow motion drills will help Jacobo focus on getting his lower half fully involved in the process to gain more consistent speed on the ball at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond.
Jacobo did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. He was only able to participate for one day due to an illness but he showed me some good things on Saturday. He has one of the best attitudes in his class and he is always smiling. Starting form is great and his upper body gets through really well. Love to see Jacobo lock down his spiral so the ball will slice through the wind easier and it will also make it quicker. Getting closer to using his large and powerful legs, and when he does his ball will FLY back to the punter. Good upside and always improving.
