Newton showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on March 9th, 2020. He is a strong Long Snapper with good balance and a solid base. Reaches through well to the punter and I like his follow through. Like to see Newton focus on slow motion drills to get his strong lower half more involved to gain some speed on the ball. Newton had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. Thick and powerful Long Snapper that is built strong. His follow though is great and I love how well his upper body gets through to the punter. If Newton can focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved, he will easily get the ball back to the punter in the mid too low .8s at VEGAS XXXV in January. Newton listens well and he is very coachable.
