    Player Review

Sam Michael showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 1, 2020. First off, Michael has a tremendous frame that can pass an eyeball test from a quarter mile away. Starting form is good and he is able to snap a smooth ball that can hover in the high .7s. The harder he snaps the ball, the better Michael does with his snapping. I absolutely love when he just grips it and rips it. Type of frame and snapping motion that can enable him to be snapping a ball for a long, long time. Massive upside. He is still available and can easily do this at the next level.

Sam Michael did very well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 27th, 2019. He has a tremendous frame that can pass an eyeball test quickly. Extremely long athlete that is dripping with potential. His follow through is excellent and he practically hands the ball to the punter. Smooth snapping motion. Increasing the overall speed of his legs will get Michael much more speed and get him fully ready for the next level. Keep a very close eye on Michael at VEGAS XXXV in January. Big jump in the rankings and well deserved.

Sam Michael had a very good showing at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in NorCal on July 28, 2019. I love his frame and the potential he possesses to become an elite long snapper. Sam is just flat out smooth. He has very good form and throws very nice balls almost effortlessly. I would love to see Sam use his large frame more and throw the ball with power. If he remains consistent and trains to snap with power, he is going to turn some heads very quickly. I can’t wait to see how Sam performs at his next Rubio Long Snapping event.
