Player Review
Payne did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. Starting stance is excellent and he is already getting solid pop from his lower half. Impressive leg extension for his age and it allows Payne to get some decent speed on the ball. Leaning back so he is not falling forward will really help is accuracy and speed. He hovers in the low .9s and his ball is catchable. Really good upside since he is already using his lower half so well. Watch this kid this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.
