Player Review
Popp was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in IL on July 8th, 2019. He has a very nice frame and he is built well. Starting form is good and his balance is excellent. Reaches through really well and practically hands the ball to the punter. I would like to see Popp continue to focus on slow-motion drills in order to get his very strong legs fully involved in the process. Easily will take his snaps into the .7s since he is so well built. Moves well on his feet.
Popp came over from Michigan and showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Spring Camp on April 14th, 2019. He is a strong Long Snapper with a great frame. Starting form is solid and he is reaching through well to the punter. Like to Popp focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved to gain more overall speed on the ball. The potential on Popp is high due to his power and work-ethic. Simple form drills will help a ton and I look forward to seeing him at VEGAS XXXIV in May.
