I am really liking the kind of Long Snapper Sammy is evolving into after seeing what he did at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Regional Camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019. His form is almost perfect, just would like to see him drop his butt a little bit at the beginning of his stance, narrow his feet up a hair, and really focus on driving his elbows. Very tight spiral and good accuracy. Think the only thing really missing is adding some muscle and strength, which will come with time and continued growth/training. Once he is able to put on this good weight, the sky is the limit. Definitely a name to keep an eye on in the future!
Sammy showed tons of potential at the Rubio Long Snapping regional camp in NJ on March 24, 2019. An athletic Long Snapper with great flexibility. Gets his eyes and upper body through incredibly well, but would love to see him lock his legs all the way out and snap harder, without hopping and starting to slide. Once he is able to put all these things together his speed and accuracy will be off the charts!

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
