Player Review
Mennona did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Boston on September 27th, 2020. First off, it looked like he grew a good amount in a short amount of time. He can easily pass an eyeball test from a hundred yards away. His starting form is good and he was very consistent all day long. Hovered in the low .8s the whole camp but I know he can dip into the .7s when he is on. A couple of times he just let the ball fly out of his hands and the power on it was off the charts. Trusting his form and improving his athleticism will push Mennona way up the charts. BIG jump in the rankings. Consistency will be a huge key for Mennona
Anthony continues to impress with his development. What he showed at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall 2019 Regional camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019 validated the work and effort he has put in over the years. His snaps have evolved with better spirals, drastically improved accuracy, and more power during his time with Rubio Long Snapping. It is obvious he has put in a great deal of work and effort over the years, and I cannot wait to see what he grows into over the next 2 years on this continued trajectory!
Anthony continued to show improvement at the NJ Summer Regional Camp on July 21, 2019. With every camp he has attended he has gotten better which is great to see for a snapper who has stayed committed to working on his craft for multiple years now. He continues to grow and lean out while adding muscle to his frame. Would love to see him continue to focus on flexibility and explosives with his lower body so he can get more power on the ball. Along with that, staying disciplined with his eyes will be huge for his accuracy. I know he will head home and continue to work on all the drills at the camp, and if he continues to stay on the path, he has shown over the past few camps, he will see a big break through sooner rather than later!
Anthony looked like a completely different Long Snapper at the NJ Spring 2019 Regional Camp on March 24, 2019. Besides growing over 6 inches in one year and leaning out while adding good weight, his form and overall snapping ability sky rocketed. He still needs to focus on committing to getting his eyes through and locking his legs out every single rep, but when he does he elevates himself to a different level. Very quite and hard working and I am excited to see how much more he improves at the next Rubio Long Snapping event!
