    Player Review

Chesney was on absolute fire at The Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on March 25th, 2020! He was so hot that he ended up winning the speed competiton, and he is only a junior! His form is great, he is using his whole body well and is built like a champ. Locking down his release point is the key to Chesney becoming a 5 Star Rubio Long Snapper. When he is on, there is no one even close to him in his class (and that is saying a lot since this class is stacked). I am telling you, keep a very close eye on Chesney at VEGAS XXXVI and beyond. Right on the cusp of becoming a phenom.

Chesney had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 27, 2019. His form is good and he is improving quickly. Love how well he reaches back to the punter. Chesney can easily get the ball back in the .7s and I am fully expecting him to do that at VEGAS XXXV in January. If he can do that, consistently, he will be setting himself up for a possible TOP 12 Camp Invite. Locking down his timing of his legs and upper body will increase his consistency. Massive potential on Chesney. Watch him.

Kurt Chesney did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. I really like his overall attitude and the power he puts on the ball. He is snapping with good aggression and I love that from a Long Snapper. His confidence is high and he is always improving. Form is good and he is leaning back well. Locking down his release point will be huge for Chesney’s accuracy and pushing up his RSI. Keep a close eye on him this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Chesney did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 3, 2019. Very impressive Long Snapper that snaps a really hard ball and can already get his snap speeds under .80. When Chesney is on, he is very on. Locking down his release point will be huge for Chesney. His ball is fast and once his accuracy is on par with his speed, he will flat out dominate his class. I can easily see Chesney being number one in his class at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Keep a very close eye on him. Explosive Long Snapper.
