    Player Review

Hunter Waldrop did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. His starting form is excellent and his follow through is very solid. Love how well he reaches back as he practically hands the ball to the punter. His pop is solid and it will be perfect once it is sped up a bit more. If he can increase his leg speed to match his upper body speed, his timing will be perfect and Waldrop’s ball will easily be in the low .8s at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Waldrop did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He is a very smooth Long Snapper that snaps a really catchable ball. Starting form is good and will be great if Waldrop can lower his back to get parallel to the ground. This will allow him to use all of his lower half really well. Back parallel to the ground will get his speeds well under .85 by the fall camps and definitely by VEGAS XXXV in January. I really liked Waldrop’s attitude. Coachable Long Snapper.

Hunter showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 2, 2018. Thick Long Snapper that does a tremendous job of driving his eyes/head through to the punter. Reaches through really well well and looks like he is trying to hand the ball to the punter. Big fan of that with a Long Snapper. Like to see Hunter focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. Hunter has good size and I want to see him use all of it. Good attitude. Slow motion drills will be huge for Hunter.
