Grimes did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS EVENT on January 19-20, 2019. Moves like a champ on his feet and shows superb athleticism. Left no doubt he could be a factor on the punt coverage team. He flat out domianted the agility drill. His snapping motion is solid and he reaches through well. Locking down his overall timing will push up the speed of his ball and making him jump way up the rankings. Great JC prospect that will do well at the next level.
Grime was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in AZ on December 9, 2018. Grimes is a shifty and very athletic Long Snapper with great downfield speed. Love when he gets his fingers set. Really solid performance all day. Practicing his approach pre-snap, focus, lock and get set up and go. Excited to see him at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Kid is excelling well.
Grimes showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 28, 2018. He is an athletic Long Snapper that moves very well on his feet and should definitely be a factor on the punt coverage team. Starting form is very solid and he is able to use his lower half really well. Accuracy is solid as you can tell with an RSI of almost 35! Dring his elbows and making sure he is not stiff-armed when snapping punts will help to keep his speed consistently in the .7s at all times and especially at VEGAS XXXIII. Easily could be one of the more dominant JC Long Snappers in the country this winter.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
