Player Review
Hofmann had a very solid day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 7, 2020. He has a large frame and is built really well. Hofmann can pass an eyeball test from a 1/4 mile away. Strong Long Snapper that snaps a smooth ball. Love to see Hofmann focus on slow motion drills to get his strong legs fully involved in the process go get his speeds into the low .7s at VEGAS XXXVI in May. Tremendous amount of upside on Hofmann.
Every time I see Caleb he shows improvement, and the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Regional Camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019 was no difference. An extremely smooth Long Snapper with one of the most catchable balls at the camp. He is a very tall athlete with long legs so locking them out fully is very tough, but would love to see him snap with more aggressiveness and as hard as he can every time. He has the size and strength to put more speed on the ball, he just needs to trust his form and abilities he has developed thus far. Looking forward to see him compete at Vegas XXV and beyond!
Caleb had a strong showing on July 21, 2019 at the NJ Summer Regional Camp. Big and tall snapper who is starting to fill out his frame nicely. Very smooth snap and ball, but would like to see him put more power and speed behind the ball. Getting the timing down of when his long legs lock out and perfecting his form will be big for him. Once he has the form and timing down, I would like to see him trust his form and snap as hard as he can every single time. Extremely coachable with a great attitude, looking forward to seeing his continued development at the next Rubio Long Snapping camp!
Caleb had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping camp in NJ on March 24, 2019. A very tall and lean Long Snapper with a great frame to grow into. He does a great job of getting his eyes and upper body through, but would like to see him engage his legs quicker and lock them all the way out. Lastly, focusing on his weight and not falling forward will be huge for him as that will force all his power back to the punter. Great attitude and very coachable, excited to see him after he goes home and puts in the work!
Caleb showed tremendous upside with his performance at the Rubio Long Snapping camp in NJ on October 14, 2018. Very tall snapper with a great frame that can put on loads more weight with ease. Would like to see him work on his flexibility a bit more in both his hips and hamstrings. Getting his legs involved and following through with his eyes and upper body will also be big. Once he gets his form down, trusts it and then snaps with as much power as he can every single time, he will see drastic improvement. Looking forward to his attendance at the next camp where he can put this all on display
