Player Review
Trim was very solid at the VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. He is an extremely smooth Long Snapper that has excellent accuracy with good speed. Ball is easy to catch and has a strong consistency of being in The Rubio Zone. Moves really well on his feet and makes going left, right, or forward with little to no effort. He can definitely can be a factor on the punt coverage team. Follows through well and he is super close to using all of his body. Strong Long Snapper with a great frame. big jump in the rankings and well deserved. Has all of the tools to be a great one in college!
Trim showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 18th, 2018. He has a great frame and can pass an eyeball test quickly. Moves well on his feet and is just a flat out good athlete. Listens well and is coachable. Starting form is good and so is his balance. Like to see Trim focus on slow motion drills in order to get all of his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. Trim can hit in the .7s when he really lets the ball fly out of his hands. Getting his muscular and athletic legs locked is going to be huge for Trim at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Excellent upside on Trim. Big fan of his potential.
Trim did well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He has a good starting base and some of the quicker hands in the country. Ball jumps well out of the gate. Balance is good and he leans back well. Making sure he has the same release point on every snap with increase his accuracy to push up his RSI. Slow motion drills will help a ton to get his legs involved in the overall snapping motion. If Trim can get his legs fully locked, he will easily be able to snap the ball sub .75 by the fall camps and VEGAS XXXIII in January. Love how quick his hands are how well he listened in TX. Good potential.
