Jude Cottrell was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on October 4th, 2020. Big and powerful Long Snapper that is strong. His starting form is good and Jude has some quick hands. The ball jumps out of the gate very well. Love to see him focus on locking down his spiral to allow the ball to slice through the wind to gain more overall speed on the ball. Slow motion drills will help to get Judge to use his massive legs involved which will also increase the overall speed at VEGAS in November and/or January. Massive potential on power alone.
Jude Cottrell showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Spring Camp on March 10th, 2019. Large Long Snapper with good starting form and he is reaching back very well. Looks like he is trying to hand the ball to the punter. Locking down his spiral is going to be a big key for having the ball slice through the wind. Lay down drills will help a ton to get his ball clean and smooth. Slow motion drills will be a key to getting Cottrell’s massive lower half fully involved in the snapping motion. Really strong Long Snapper with good upside.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
