    Player Review

Lucas had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on October 4th, 2020. First off, he has a great frame and can pass an eyeball test quickly. Thick and powerful human being. Lucas has snap times ranging from mid .7s to low .8s and has some very quick hands. The ball jumps out of his hands well and Lucas is able to use his large lower half really well. Locking down his spiral is going to be huge for Lucas. His ball comes out quickly that is the spiral isn’t super tight, the ball will be hard to catch for the punter. Easy fix that will help him dominate at VEGAS in November and/or January. Really good upside on this super strong Long Snapper.

Lucas was very solid during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. I love his frame and how he is always improving. Lucas has a tremendous attitude and is very coachable. His form is good and he is able to get some good pop from his lower half. Really exploding well and is showing me that he has all of the tools to do this for a long time. Love how he continues to get better and better each time I see him. Locking down his consistency will be huge for him this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January. Massive jump in the rankings and well deserved. Watch him!

Lucas showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Spring Camp on March 10th, 2019. He has a tremendous frame and can pass for a college right now and he still has a couple years left of high school. Starting form is good. Reaches back well. Need to see Lucas just snap ten yards right now to gain confidence and focus heavily on slow motion drills to get his whole body involved. He is so large that once he slows the whole process down and smooths it all out, he will be able to put a hole in the punter. Massive upside on Lucas. Type of Long Snapper that could make huge jumps in the rankings in a very short amount of time.

Lucas showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 2, 2018. Just saw him a month ago and you can tell he has improved since then. Love his frame and the rage when he snaps the ball. His explosion is off the charts. His pop is great. Legs are fully involved. Locking down his spiral and making sure he is leaning back are going to be the keys to Lucas' greatness. The potential for Lucas is off the charts. When he is on, he is very on. When he gets "it" he will dominate his class. Big improvement on his power alone.

Lucas did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. He is a strong and powerful Long Snapper. Starting form is good and he does a nice job of exploding back to the punter. Legs are strong and are being used well. Need to see Lucas flatten out his back a bit at the starting of his snapping motion. Also, making sure he is going straight back and not up and then back, will really increase the overall speed of the ball. Locking down his release point will help out as well by the time VEGAS XXXIII gets here in January. Seems like a lot but they are all easy fixes. Love his pop.

Andrew showed me some good things during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper with really quick hands. Love how well the ball jumps out of the gate. Strong hands that are super accurate when he reaches all the way through to the punter. Lifting up in his starting stance will enable to him use all of his strong frame. Also, leaning back will help out his accuracy to get his RSI up to double digits. It will also help out with his speed to get him, consistently, in the .7s. He can hit in the .7s now but I need to see more consistency with his speed. Has all of the tools to be great. Watch him at VEGAS XXXIII and at the fall camps
