Player Review
Strayer showed me some good things during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper with strong hands. Starting form is very good and he has solid balance. Tends to go back instead of forward and that is a great thing. Like to see Strayer focus on locking down his spiral to have the ball slice through the wind and make it easier to catch for the punter. Working on slow motion drills will really help him out to get his big legs fully involved to get more speed on the ball. He has all of the tools to be one of the better Long Snappers in his class. Excited to see him this fall in GA and at VEGAS XXXIII in January.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
