Rasmussen did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He was absolutely ripping the ball back to the punter in NC. He had no problem hitting in the .7s throughout the day with his great form and explosion. Rasmussen is really using his whole body well when he is snapping the ball. Getting set is a key for his greatness. No doubt he can do this at the next level. Solid jump in the rankings. Very impressive summer for Rasmussen and I can’t wait to see him this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.
Rasmussen came over from South Carolina and did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. Solid frame and he was really impressive out in GA. During the speed competition, Rasmussen was ripping the ball back to the punter with times well under .78 with ease. Like when Rasmussen locks down his release point to increase his overall accuracy. When he hits the same spot on his release point, he won’t miss the hip on the punter at all. He was really solid and I can’t wait to see him perform at VEGAS XXXIV in May. TOP 12????
Rasmussen came out from SC and showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Spring Camp on March 10th, 2019. Very smooth Long Snapper with great form and balance. His balance is really easy to catch and has a tight spiral. Balance is good and Rasmussen is able to use all of his legs really well. His pop is great. His ball is in the mid .7s on a very consistent basis. Need to see Rasmussen trust his great from and really let the ball fly out of his hands. Snapping with the utmost confidence and as hard as he can will push Rasmussen way up the rankings. Great kid.
Rasmussen was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Easily one of the smoothest Long Snappers in his class. Reaches through like an absolute champ and dives through extremely well. Love watching Rasmussen get his eyes and head all the way through to the punter. Snapping with full power and confidence will be huge for Rasmussen as it will allow him to snap harder and with all of his legs fully involved. Moved well on his feet. Athletic. Strong. Tremendous upside.
