Player Review
Downs was very solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He is built long and snaps well under pressure. He has a lean frame that has good room to put on some lbs over the next couple of years. His hands are quick and the ball jumps out of the gate well. Love to see how quickly the ball jumps out of his hands. Like to see Downs focus on flattening out his back and getting all of his lower half fully involved. Flattening out his back will allow him to get his full upper body to drive through and be more powerful. If Downs can do some slow motion drills to smooth out his snapping motion and get his legs fully locked, he will easily be sub .75 this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January.
