Holton did really well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Strong Long Snapper with good form. I love how well he gets through to the punter. Does a good job of getting his upper body all the way through to the punter. He practically hands the ball to the punter. Love to see Holton focus on making sure his legs get fully locked so he can get more overall and consistent speed on the ball. If he can get his powerful lower half involved, he will easily be snapping sub .75 this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII. Smooth Long Snapper with good upside.
Holton showed me some very good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. He has a good, strong frame and his hands are quick. Holton’s snaps jump out of the gate very well. Like to see Holton focus on not bouncing into the snapping motion and really getting his legs fully involved. Bouncing into the motion allows the defender to time a Long Snapper up and will impact the spiral and accuracy since you never really get set. Slow motion drills will help a ton to just smooth out the overall snapping motion. I like his attitude and upside. Watch him at VEGAS XXXII in May.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
