Shaw was solid at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Big fan of his overall frame and how quick his hands are when he snaps the ball. His snaps really jump out of the gate well. Like to see Shaw get his back to parallel right before the snap and make sure he is getting fully set at all times. Lowering his butt will enable Shaw to get more power from his good looking and strong legs. Being more assertive and confident on his feet will help with his athleticism to push him up the rankings. Great upside.
Spencer Shaw did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in CA on March 4th, 2018. First off, Shaw can pass an eyeball test very quickly and he listens really well. It was his first Rubio Long Snapping camp and I loved how coachable he was with everything. His hands are extremely quick and he does a solid job of reaching all the way back to the punter. Need to see Shaw focus on getting his butt down so his back is parallel to the ground. This will allow him to use all of his strong lower half and get his speeds easily into the .8s by VEGAS XXXII in May. Right now, Shaw is snapping solid ball and is only using half of his body. When his legs are going, watch out!
