Garrett was very impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. First off, this kid absolutely flies down the field. He put on a clinic anytime we did drills to highlight the Long Snapper's athleticism. His hips are fantastic and he was, easily, one of the fastest Long Snappers in the country. Form is good and his hands are quick. Ball is easy to catch. Really great weekend for this JC Long Snapper. No doubt he can snap at the next level.
Garrett did well at VEGAS XXXII. Athletic Long Snapper that snaps a very consistent and smooth ball. Ball is easy to catch and he is moving well on his feet. Need to see Garrett focus on leaning back a bit more so he is not falling forward. Also, if he can lead with his elbows it will enable him to get more whip on the ball. More whip on the ball equals more speed and he is strong enough to easily get the ball under .70 with no problem at all. Hard working Long Snapper that could easily snap at the next level. Confidence is going to be huge for Garrett.
