Schrodes came over from Ohio and was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Spring Camp on April 14th, 2019. Easily one of the smoothest Long Snappers at the camp. Ball was gliding out of his hands effortlessly and it was great to watch. Starting form is excellent and he is able to use his whole body well. His ball was hovering in the mid to high .7s and will easily be even faster if Schrodes can lock down his spiral. Locking down the spiral will help with speed and make the ball more catchable at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Very solid attitude and he is coachable.
Schrodes did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Snaps a catchable ball that hovers right in the mid .7s and will easily be able to get into the .6s if he can snap a bit harder and trust himself. Snapping with confidence will be huge for Schrodes. Great upside. Love his attitude. Always smiling. Being a bit quicker and smoother out of the gate will really help with accuracy and speed. Tremendous upside. Watch this kid!
