Sands proved himself confident and well-rounded able to compete in every event hosted at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in AZ on December 9, 2018. Sands showed tremendous ability to snap with speed power and confidence he shined all day. If he can improve flexibility while locking down his grip and release point, he will be unstoppable. Release point is going to be massive for his overall accuracy and consistency. Very good pope and upside. Coaches watch out for this one! Very athletic Excited to see him at VEGAS XXXIII in January. POTENTIAL. Love to see some more size on him over the next couple of years. Big move up the rankings and well deserved.
Sands is a solid Long Snapper that did well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Has room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years and might have one of the best follow throughs in his class. As he continues to grow, he will need to widen out his stance to get his upper body through to the punter. Doing that and speeding up the locking of his legs, will greatly increase the overall speed of his ball. With his follow through being so great, you know the accuracy will be there and now we just need Sands' speed to be equal. Good listener.
