Player Review
Ledford had a great two days at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp in TX on July 11-12, 2020. Massive Long Snapper that is big enough to play two positions in college. Type of athlete that can cast a big shadow on you the closer he gets. Balance is solid and he is using his strong legs pretty darn well. I absolutely love when Ledford snaps the ball as hard as he can and gets his eyes through. Bottom line, Ledford is a very solid Long Snapper that has great upside. He definitely can do this at the next level.
Ledford was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in Georgia on March 8th, 2020. He has excellent starting form and his balance is good. Follows through well and Ledford is abel to use his whole body well. Love to see him work on driving his elbows more to create more whip on the ball and that will get more speed on the ball. Extremely strong and powerful Long Snapper with massive upside.
Ryan Ledford did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. He is a big and strong Long Snapper with a really nice snapping motion. His ball is smooth and very easy to catch. Ledford was consistent with his snapping speeds in the mid .8s. Love to see Ledford widen out a tad to enable his big chest to get through easier which will increase his accuracy and allow even more power on his ball. He has all of the tools to do very well at VEGAS XXXV in January.
Ledford did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Big and strong Long Snapper that is powerful throughout his whole body. Absolutely love when Ledford just lets the ball fly out of his hands. Kid is a monster physically and I want him to use all of it at all times. Form is good. Leading with his elbows to create more whip and really push up his speeds to college level. Locking down his spiral and increasing his athleticism will push Ledford way up. Big fan of his attitude. Watch this kid. Consistency is the key.
