Reves (yes, that is the correct spelling) showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. He is a thick and powerul Long Snapper with some nice, quick hands. Ball jumps out of the gate well. Big fan of how well Reves drives his head through to the punter. His eyes are well ahead of the ball and I loved seeing that over and over again. Widening out his stance will help to use more of his legs to gain more speed on the ball and get his chest through to the punter. Locking down his spiral will help his speed as well. A couple of easy fixes will really help Reves at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Great upside.
Reves had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. He is thick and strong with good balance. Starting form is solid and his hands are like rockets. The ball jumps out of the gate extremely quick with no wasted movement. Need to see Reves focus on locking down his spiral to make the ball slice through the wind for more speed and so it is easier to catch. Also, leading with his elbows and being a little bit more loose with his upper body will speed up his snaps as it will create more whip on the ball. Powerful Long Snapper and I really like his attitude.
Reves showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on November 19th, 2017. Thick and strong Long Snapper with powerful hands. His balance is solid and he has good starting form. Hands are quick to reach all the way back to the punter. Love to see Reves focus on slow motion drills to get his massive lower half involved in the process. As stated, Reves is thick and if he can get his legs involved in the process, he would be snapping pearls under .80 at VEGAS XXXI with no problem whatsover. Really solid potential on Reves and consistency of speed is one of the main things I will be watching for on this Long Snapper from VA.
