Wells had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 29, 2017. His hands are quick and he reaches through really well. Big fan of his follow through. Like to see Wells make sure he is not taking so long to snap the ball because that causes him to think too much. The more he thinks, the more he thinks and no one needs a Long Snapper that thinks too much:) Balance is good and the more slow motion drills he does, the more he will be able to get his lower half fully involved in the process to gain more speed on the ball. Cleaning up his snapping motion will be key and I am excited to see Wells progress at VEGAS XXXI this January.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
