Player Review
Alec has grown into a monster of a high school athlete and has all of the tools to dominate his class. He can pass an eyeball test quickly. Looks like a college tight end or defensive end right now and still has a year of high school left. Powerful hands that are quick and able to reach back well. The more he focuses on consistency of his snapping motion and allowing his strong body to do the work, the higher up he will go in the rankings. As stated before, the sky is the limit for Alec.Alec is a Long Snapper that is absolutely dripping with potential. He is built very long and is strong throughout his body. He has the frame of a college Long Snapper right now and can pass an eyeball test from 100 yards away. Form is good and he is close to using his whole body really well. Flexibility needs a bit of work to really allow his upper body through. The harder he snaps the ball, the better he does. He will go as far as he wants with his Long Snapping. Dripping with potential.
Alec did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on October 22, 2017. He is a very long athlete that moves pretty well on his feet and has a frame that will easily be able to hold another forty pounds by the time he is down with high school. Strong Long Snapper with powerful hands. When he trusts his strength and lets the ball go, he can easily hit sub .80. Confidence in his snapping and realizing just how good he could be is going to be huge for Alec as we progress through the next couple of years. Needs to focus on flexibility, balance and making sure he is not overgripping the ball. Potential is off the charts.
