    Player Review
Widenhouse was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Built long and he moved well on his feet really well. Left no doubt on the agility station that he can be a true factor on the punt coverage team. Like to see Widenhouse focus on narrowing down his stance a bit more so he is not so wide and therefore, able to get much more power on his ball and get his snap speeds under .85. Great potential and he will do really well once he realizes all of his power, and speed, will come from his lower half. No need to rock into position or hitch to gain more speed. The extra movements just slow the process down and add speed to his snap. Upside is good. Reaches back well and I love the improvement on Widenhouse's RSI.

Widenhouse showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NJ on October 8th, 2017. He is a very athletic Long Snapper that crushed the agility section of the camp. He really made everything look effortless on his feet. Love to see Widenhouse rise up a bit in his stance so he is not so low as that will quicken up his initial snapping movements. Reaches back well and if he can get his legs fully involved he will easily be snapping sub .80 at VEGAS XXXI in January. Slow motion snaps will help a lot to gain the proper snapping motion. Good upside.
