Player Review

CJ performed very well at the Rubio Long Snapping regional camp in NJ on March 24, 2019. A snapper who uses his form very well to produce consistent and accurate snaps with good speed and power. Would like to see him work on snapping harder to put a little more "oomph" behind the ball, as well as aiming a little bit lower as that ball continues to climb back to the punter. My favorite thing about CJ though was how great of an attitude he brought to the camp and how often he went out his way to help with the younger snappers on things he saw they were doing wrong. Great kid and snapper!

Otwell looked very good at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Thick, stout and strong Long Snapper that has done a great job improving his overall form in a short amount of time. Love how well he is using his whole body to gain a good amount of speed on the ball. His snapping motion is very smooth and efficient. I absolutely love Otwell's attitude and work-ethic. He is going to make a solid college Long Snapper. No wasted movement at all when snapping the ball.

Otwell was solid during the Rubio Long Snapping 2018 Summer Tour. Strong and powerful Long Snapper with good balance. Listens very well and Otwell is really coachable. Loved how he improved his RSI from the NC to GA camp. Really impressive to say the least. Need to see Otwell focus on not over-gripping the ball so his spiral is always on point. Good, quick hands and his ball hovers in the mid to high .7s at 15 yards. Solid Long Snapper with good upside and consistency. Good jump in the rankings.
