Player Review
Duffy was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in CA. on June 27, 2019. First off, this is BEYOND smart with a 4.8 GPA! He told me that (not in a bragging manner, either) and I knew it was something I wanted to mention so coaches could see it. His Snapping is improving by the second and that took him right into the finals. Snaps in the mid to low .8s and will easily get to kid .7s by Snapping with a tad more confidence and realizing how great he is. I’m telling you, keep a very close on Duffy.
Duffy was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 3, 2019. Great attitude and always improving. He has a solid frame. Strong Long Snapper that reaches through well and is quick with his movements. Athletic Long Snapper with a very tight spiral and a ball that is beyond easy to catch. If Duffy can get his lower half to fully lock out when the football is at his shins, he will end up punishing his punter throughout the next season and at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Really good potential on Duffy and he had a solid camp. Impressive day.
Duffy did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. He was incredible going through the agility section of the camp. He went through so fast that it almost looked like he was cheating, but he wasn't. Kid is a pure athlete and can easily be a factor on the punt coverage team. His hands are quick and he dives through really well. Getting full use of his legs will really push his snap speed up and get him easily into the mid .7s by the spring camp in CA. Tremendous athlete.
