Shelton was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Summer Camp on July 9, 2017. First off, he is a very athletic Long Snapper that could easily be a factor on the punt coverage team. Starting form is very solid and he reaches back well. Love to see Shelton focus on slow motion drills to get his long legs fully involved. Once his legs are going with the snap, he will easily be able to get the ball under .80 on a very consistent basis. Tons of upside and I am excited to see him this fall in NC and at VEGAS XXXI.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
