Player Review
Grainger showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Summer Camp on July 11, 2017. Smooth Long Snapper with excellent athletic ability. He definitely had no problem with any agility drills throughout the day and will be a factor in punt coverage over the next several years. I would like to see Grainger focus on being quicker with his hands and making sure he is getting his lower half fully involved. Right now, he hovers in the mid to high .8s and he could easily be sub .8 by the fall if his legs get going in the process. Great upside and I like the path he is on. Watch him this fall and at VEGAS XXXI.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
