Dawson showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping GA summer camp on July 11, 2017. He is a very athletic Long Snapper that moves really well on his feet. We did several agility drills and he had no issues with any of them. Dawson can definitely be a factor on the punt coverage team. Love to see Dawson focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball and get his snapping motion much more fluid. Going down to about ten yards to gain confidence will be huge for Dawson. He has potential.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
