Player Review
Hood showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping GA Summer Camp on July 13th, 2017. His starting form is excellent and he does a nice job of reaching back to the punter. Love to see Hood make sure he is really driving his hands back quickly without dragging the ball. If the ball is being rubbed along the turf it will cause it to slow down as well as impacting the spiral and accuracy. Form is very good and he has the ability to snap a great ball. Consistency and athleticism will be key things I will be looking for this fall in GA and at VEGAS XXXI.
Hood did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 30, 2017. He has good starting form and does well reaching through to the punter. Love to see him focus on making sure he gets his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. Slow motion drills will really help out at VEGAS 30. His hands are quick and he has good upside.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
