Player Review

Pitsenberger was very solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Smooth Long Snapper with good consistency on every snap you see from him. Balance is good and he does a nice job of falling back to the punter instead of falling foward. He is using his lower half well and is close to having his timing perfect. Right now, his hands are just a tad quicker than the locking of his legs which play with his overall speed a bit. Pitz is right on the cusp of dominance in his class. VERY impressed with him this summer and can't wait to see him this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January. TOP 12?????? Big jump in the rankings. 

Pitsenberger did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in IL on April 7th, 2018. Very smooth and smart Long Snapper with great potential. Pitz moves extremely well on his feet and left no doubt he can be a factor on the punt coverage team. Smooth with his snapping motion and also smooth athletically. Locking down his spiral will make his ball easier to catch for the punter and also increase the overall speed. Also, snapping with full power and letting the ball rip out of his hands will increase his speed. As stated, he snaps a smooth ball but he can increase his overall explosiveness. Upside is very good on Pitz. Keep a very close on him at VEGAS XXXII in May.

Zach did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Smooth Long Snapper with a thick and strong frame. He moved really well on his feet and I liked his hips. Need to see Zach focus on not dragging the ball as he starts the process. Dragging the ball back will make the ball slow down and can really impact his spiral and accuracy. Leading with his elbows will create whip and get his snap speeds under .80 in no time at all. Big upside on Zach!

Zach showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in IL on July 13, 2017. He has a done a great job of eliminating his hitch and making his hands much quicker back to the punter. His legs are coming along nicely and are almost fully involved. Moved extreemely well on his feet and left no doubt he can be a factor on punt coverage. Love to see Zach continue to focus on slow motion drills to get his legs completely locked out so he can be consistently under .80 by the time Rubio Long Snapping comes back to the midwest this December and definitely by VEGAS XXXI. Great improvement.

Zach did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS 30 Event on May 13-14, 2017. Incredible athlete that absolutely destroyed the agility section of the weekend in VEGAS. Needs to focus on snapping with quickness and knowing that all of his power will come from his lower half. Tends to try and oversnap with his hands and that can cause a massive hitch that will be a major cause of the slower snap times. Quickness and locking down his spiral will be huge for Zach to move up the rankings.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
