Player Review
Peterson was throwing fire at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. How much fire you ask? Well, he ended up winning the speed competition with consistent snaps under .75. The ball was absolutely flying back to the punter. He has lost some weight and is looking good. Always been a bigger Long Snapper and now he is using his size to really put some speed on the ball. You could almost hear it humming back to the punter. Love when he just gets set and rips it back to the punter. It is great to see. Love to see him continue to increase his athleticism and always follow through with his eyes/head and fingers. Great job out in the Midwest.
Peterson was solid at VEGAS XXXII in May. Big and massive Long Snapper with tons of power. If you are looking for a thick Long Snapper that can block and take up some space, look no further. Peterson is always improving and snaps a very smooth ball. Leading with his elbows and not being so stiff will help a ton in making sure he can continue to increase the overall speed of his ball. Also, making sure he continues to work on being a little lighter on his feet will help as well. Love this kid's attitude as he is always improving and he is a very quick learner.
