Player Review
Mario was very impressive at VEGAS 30 on May 13-14, 2017. Physically strong Long Snapper with powerful and quick hands. The ball jumps out of his hands really well. Snaps with brute force. Love to see Mario lock down his release point to increase his accuracy and RSI. Very athletic Long Snapper that is easily able to play in college right now. Fine tuning for accuracy and consistency will make him better but he is darn good right now. Love his upside.The April 9th, 2017 NJ Spring Camp was a great showing for Mario. High school class of 2016, he was the most physically developed snapper and he let his size and strength take over his snapping as he ripped balls back to the punters all day. Very athletic and transitioned into blocking very easily. Viable option for colleges looking to add depth to their specialists roster. Like to see Mario not think so much when he is about to snap and get his eyes through quicker to increase his accuracy/consistency. VEGAS 30 should be huge for him. Upside.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80.
