Lewis showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on March 26, 2017. His balance is good and he does a nice job of reaching back to the punter. Looks like he practically hands the ball to the punter. Love to see Lewis focus on slow motion drills to get his snapping motion to use all of his body. Getting his legs involved will greatly increase the overall speed of the ball down. Increasing his leg pop and making sure he is not dragging the ball back will get his speed well under .90 at VEGAS 30. Good attitude and I like his size.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
