Mario Love showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on March 26, 2017. He is big and strong with very powerful hands. He has all of the tools, he just needs to learn how to use them for a great snap. Slow motion drills will be huge to lock down his snapping motion and release point. He is already using his legs well but it is a bit out of control. Smoothing out the whole motion and release will allow Mario to easily snap in the .7s due to his overall strength. Good attitude and I look forward to seeing him perform at VEGAS 30.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
