Alex showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on March 26, 2017. He is a big and strong Long Snapper that a defender would definitely have some issues moving around after the punt snap. His hands are really quick and the ball jumps out of the gate well. Love to see Alex focus on slow motion snaps to ensure his large lower half gets fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. Getting his legs moving and locking down his spiral will be huge at VEGAS 30. Good kid that listens well. Very coachable.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
