    Player Review

McCoy did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. He has a great attitude and a frame that can pass an eyeyball test quickly. Starting form is very solid and he is using pretty much all of his body already. Legs have good pop and he snaps a smooth and catchable ball. For McCoy to push himself to the next level, I need to see him focus on being able to lead with his elbows so he isn't so stiff with his arms. If he can lead with his elbows, he will create more whip on the ball which will greatly increase the overall speed of the ball. Excellent overall potential on McCoy and I could see him picking up a TOp 12 Camp invite if he can get his elbows going in the process.

McCoy was very solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He has an absolutely tremendous frame and he can pass an eyeball test from 100 yards away. Starting form is very good and he has consistent speeds in the low .8s to high .7s to a punter standing at 15 yards. Making sure he is leaning back more will help McCoy increase his overall accuracy to push up his RSI throughout the fall and at VEGAS XXXIII. Also, making sure he is snapping with full power and confidence will push up his speed into the .7s. McCoy has all of the tools to be one of the best in his class.

McCoy showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. First off, I love his frame as he is almost looking like a college Long Snapper right now and he is only a sophomore. He is an extremely smooth Long Snapper that does a great job reaching all of the way back. When he is quick with his hands, he can easily get the ball back to the punter in under .825. Really need to see him focus on snapping with full power and snapping with confidence. McCoy is very good and has all of the upside in the world. His ceiling is very high. Keep a close eye on McCoy at VEGAS XXXII in May.

Will had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 3rd, 2017. Strong Long Snapper with good form and balance. Lots and lots of upside on Will. Like to see him focus on leading with his elbows so he is not so stiff armed. Tends to be rigid and that causes the ball to die about 3/4 of the way to the punter. Will has improved a ton with his legs being involved and I love it! He is strong and has a good frame so if he can loosen up his upper half a bit by VEGAS XXXI, he will move way up the rankings really quickly. Great upside. Love his attitude and how well he has improved since July.

Will did well at the Rubio Long Snapping summer camp in NC on July 9th, 2017. Strong Long Snapper with very good starting form. Balance is solid and he leans back well. Will is starting to use his legs well and it is giving him some good pop. Love to see Will focus on making sure he locks down his spiral. The lack of spiral is causing the ball to be hard to catch and get killed by the wind. Good upside. Lay down drills will be huge for perfecting his spiral. Slight jump in the rankings and excted to see his progress this fall in NC and at VEGAS XXXI.
