Blackburn showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 5, 2017. He moves really well on his feet and will definitely be a factor on punt coverage. Starting form is good and he does a nice job of getting up and back after the snap. Like to see Blackburn focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved to gain some more speed on the ball. Also, making sure he is locking down his spiral will push his speed up considerably by VEGAS 30 in May. Good potential.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
