Player Review
Suzuki did well for me at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX EVENT on January 14-15, 2017. He has a good frame and he is built well. Moves with aggression and purpose. Will be a factor on punt coverage on attitude alone. Follow through is solid and he reaches through well. Need to see him focus on getting his strong lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. VERY good upside and should be ready by VEGAS 30.Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .88VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.24
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 21.92
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
