Player Review
Kyle did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Kid is almost built like a college Long Snapper right now and he still has three years of high school left. Moved really well on his feet and had no problem with the agility section. Kyle will no doubt be a factor on the punt coverage team throughout HS and college. Love to see him widen out a bit since he is so tall for his age. This will help with getting his upper body through easier for more accuracy to push his RSI up at VEGAS 30 in May. Making sure he gets his butt down a bit more will help him increase his speed which will also push up his RSI. Locking down his spiral will push him way up the rankings. TONS of potential on Kyle.Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: 1.05VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.81
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 12.50
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
