    Player Review

Player reviews for VEGAS XXXV will be done on YouTube. Please click on top video link above to see the review.

Applefield showed up from Alabama and was super smooth at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. His ball might be one of the easiest to catch in his whole class. Body is strong and he is built thick. Form is great and he hovered in the mid .7s all day long. Locking down his spiral and snapping with full power at all times will be huge for Applefield. I love his attitude and he is always improving. Easily will be able to do this at the next level.

Applefield was extremely solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. He snaps a great ball and it rarely gets above .775 at 15 yards. His form is darn near perfect and I love when he is snapping a ball at full power and with complete confidence. Bal shows good accuracy as he spends a lot of time in The Rubio Zone. Moves decent on his feet and I am a big fan when he lowers his center of gravity when he goes left and right. Great attitude and always improving. Snaps a good and consistent ball.

Applefield had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 2, 2018. He has quick hands and one of the best attitudes in his class. Ball is accurate and his snapping motion is very solid. When he snaps with full power and really lets the ball fly out of his hands, Applefield can easily hit in the mid .7s. You can always tell when Applefield does snap with full power as his whole body will slide back to the punter. When this happens and he snaps with confidence, he snaps a D1 ball.

Applefield did really well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. I absolutely love his attitude and his college coach is going to be lucky to have him in the future. Form is good and he is able to snap with solid power. Balance is very good. Like to see Applefied make sure he has the ball extended in front of his head enough at all times and that he snaps all the way through to the punter. Form is good and I want his accuracy to emulate the greatness of his form. Following all the way through will push his RSI way up. When Applefield is on, he is VERY on. Heck of a personality and always improving.

Applefield was solid at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. He is a smooth Long Snapper with tons of potential. When he is moving, I would like to see him focus on what is in front of him rather that what is below him. If Applefield can look up when moving, he will greatly increase his overall athleticism. He had a great overall weekend and is definitely on the path to playing at the next level. Great attitude and his upside is excellent. Ball is powerful and can crush the punter.

Applefield was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. Form is smooth and he is very efficient with his body. Doing a good job of using all of his body. Very consistent Long Snapper. Just saw him in March and he is like a pitching machine....every snap is the same. Locking down his release point will help a ton in increasing his overall accuracy which will push up his RSI. Great kid

Applefield did very well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. First off, I love how he absolutely explodes out of the gate. When Applefield snaps with absolute full power, his ball really jumps at the start of his snapping motion. He is using his lower half very well right now and he has good balance. Like to see Applefield focus on his release point to lock down his accuracy and push up his RSI at VEGAS XXXII in May. Balance is good and the harder he snaps, the better he does. Snapping with confidence is going to be huge for Applefield as we progress. He can do this well and he can do it for a long time.

Applefield was excellent at the Rubio Long Snapping Underclassmen Invitational in Tampa, FL this past July. Made it deep into the finals round and handled pressure really well. Moves pretty well on his feet. Strong bodied Long Snapper. Applefield will be able to increase his overall speed and accuracy as well once his eyes/head come through in one quick motion and not in stages. He is very good and headed toward great.
