    Player Review

Wells did great at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 28, 2018. He was only able to be at the camp for half the day but showed me enough to move up a good amount of spots. Form is great and he is really snapping with some confidence and power. Wells has one of the best attitudes in his class. Always smiling and in a good mood. Great athlete that might be the best overall mover in his class. Kid can flat out fly and looks effortless doing it. Wells is going to make a college coach very happy in the next couple of years.

Wells was very impressive during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Kid has a tremendous attitude and is always smiling. Great to be around and always leading the pack. Athletically, he is off the charts and is no doubt a factor on any punt coverage team he gets on in the near future. Form is good and he Wells needs to know it. Snapping with full confidence is going to be huge for Wells to get more overall power into his snap and speed on his ball. He has all of the ability to snap a major college ball right now...I know it and I want/need him to know it so the ball will get quicker. Confidence is the key. Kid is a stud.

Wells was solid at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. First off, he might be the greatest athlete in his class. Watching him go through any agility test is like watching a world class ballet dancer. Smooth, flawless and always moving in the right direction. Love to see Wells focus on driving his upper body all the way through to the punter. If he can do that, his ball won’t fall off the table and the speed will greatly increase. Tremendous attitude that a coach is going to love at this level and beyond.

Wells was great at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in CA on March 4th, 2018. Easily one of the most athletic Long Snappers in the country. Wells can just destroy any agility section you throw his way and he makes it look effortless. Kid practically glides across the field when he is moving. Like to see Wells lean back a bit more so he is getting out of the gate before the ball is being snapped. Leaning back will help with accuracy a ton. Also, making sure he is a little bit more elongated at the start of the snapping motion will make him taller and increase his overall speed. When I stretched Wells out, he was easily able to hit in the .7s. Great kid.

Wells did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. First off, he is easily one of the most athletic Long Snappers in the country....class doesn't matter. This kid will absolutely crush any agility section you throw his way.. It is almost like he is floating instead of running. Form is good and he is using his athletic body very well. Love when he drives his upper body through and not up. Ball is quick out of the gate and, when he drives through, is on a line back to the punter. LOVE his attitude.
