Player Review

Mitchell did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper that is growing by the hour. Balance is good and he is using his lower half pretty darn well right now. Strong Long Snapper..If he can extend the ball out a bit, he will be able to really drive with his elbows to pick up more speed on the ball. Also, driving through with his chest and not going up first, will easily push Mitchell into the D1 speed range. Great potential. I know he has "it" and I need Mitchell to know that as well.

Mitchell was very solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Big and thick Long Snapper with good balance and a great base. Grows by the hour and doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon. Consistent Long Snapper with very good accuracy that showed it with an RSI in the middle 20's. Like to see Mitchell focus on increasing his athleticism to be a true factor on the punt coverage team. Also, making sure he is leading with his elbows to create more whip on the ball will drastically increase his speed on the ball. Built like a bear so he has all of the power to get his 15 yard punt snaps well under .75 by the fall camps and definitely at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Mitchell impressed me at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Big and strong Long Snapper that has really come on of late. Took a bit of time off from snapping but he has come back bigger and stronger. Form is good and he is starting to snap with some good confidence. Smoothing out his overall snapping motion and making sure he is always leading with his elbows will greatly increase his speed. Also, working on his athleticism will help out to push him up the rankings. Great attitude and upside.

Mitchell showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. He has a great frame and has all of the tools to be one of the best in his class. Starting form is great and he is reaching back well. Like to see Mitchell focus on driving his upper body all the way through and leaning back so he doesn't fall forward after the snap. Both will really help with his overall speed. Increasing his athleticism will push him way up the rankings as well. Love his attitude.

Mitchell had a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on November 19, 2017. Large framed Long Snapper that is really starting to use his lower half well. He is getting great power from his thick legs and it is great to watch. Need to see Mitchell focus on getting his eyes/head through for more accuracy and speed on the ball. It will be a bit difficult since he is so thick but it can be done and will greatly impact his ranking and future RSI’s. Great attitude and upside.
